Over the course of many years I have done the lion's share of the canyons in this book, and Kelsey's guide has helped me every step of the way. It's very quirky to use. I would say it's not very user-friendly. But it's just absolutely|About the Author|Kelsey has a degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University, and from the University of Utah, he has a Master of Science degree in Geography. After college he began traveling, visiting over 223 countries.

This book includes the Blue John Canyon which is featured in the movie 127 Hours, the story about Aron Ralston and his experience.

The Colorado Plateau is a large physiographic region covering roughly the southeastern half of Utah, the northern half of Arizona, the western fifth of Colorado and a small area in the northwestern corner of New Mexico.
