For a student not familiar with the trucking industry or DOT regulations it is great. For a student that has a few years if industry experience, it is too topical. Needs to cover accident/incident investigation and cause and effect more deeply for advanced students.

To transport people and materials safely, it is essential that everyone involved in a transportation system be adequately trained, supervised, and monitored. Detailed data and incident reports must be maintained to identify trends and problem areas, and to implement process and safety improvements.
